Do you have a question?
See if I have answered it here or send me an email.
Who have you trained in the past?
People like you! Dancers, Judoka, teachers, nurses, 50+, people who want to lose weight, gain muscle, get motivated, reach their peak, the list goes on.
Can I afford a Personal Trainer?
The fitness industry builds itself on yes being the answer to this question. I personally take the view that this may not always be possible. However, I do provide a range of services including distance training and support which I have found to be very popular with people who may not be able to afford face to face contact every week. If I don’t think personal training is a viable option I will tell you.
I don’t have the time to train…
Again, this may well be the case; someone with two jobs and three children is not in the same position as a person who works a standard 9-5 with free time on the weekend. Again, distance support may be helpful here to help fit in exercise in everyday life. It may be helpful to also think of gym days as gym hours. Some may not think they can go to the gym four days a week, but 4 hours out of 168 may look more manageable. I am here to help you figure out what is best for you.
How much do you charge per hour?
I only charge an hourly rate in special circumstances such as highly sporadic training or for groups of more than two. Most of the time I work out training packages based on timeframe and sessions per week. From there I break it down into a monthly rate which just becomes another bill.
How do I pay?
Direct debit, cash, Bitcoin or Paypal.
What if I miss a session?
Refunds can be given based on notice given or carried over to the next session.
Can I bring a friend?
Yup, you’ll get a discount too!
What kind of trainer are you?
I consider myself patient and empathic having trained a range of individuals with various physical or mental barriers that may have posed a stumbling block to their training. I’m motivational, conversational and friendly while holding you to account to get the best out of yourself. Shouting is optional, no extra charge!
Do you provide nutritional plans?
Not plans, in my experience, people find these difficult to stick to and then get demotivated if/when they don’t. I will give you advice and support, it’s included free in your training package. Weekly analysis, challenges, targets and advice is given.
What should I wear?
Anything that could be considered training gear. From your best sportswear to old comfy clothes, all are acceptable. If you want to turn up and train in a morph suit it’s fine by me! I have once trained someone who wore a bin bag under his top because he wanted to sweat more!
